During our chat, we will address your highest priority topic and discuss the technique that will give you the biggest bang for your buck. Together, we will figure out a plan that works for you. Even if we develop the best plan in the history of feline behaviour… if it doesn’t fit your busy life, it’s not going to work.
By the end, you will have an achievable action in place. Behaviour and nutrition issues can be complex: I hope to start you on the path towards your end goal. I’m all about creating feline-savvy environments, teaching new skills, and providing support as we move through this journey together.
Chats are booked on an ad-hoc basis. You can choose either a 30-minute session for $45CAD or a 60-minute session for $90CAD (taxes are included in the price). An email summary of our conversation will be sent to you within a few minutes of our meeting. I will also check in the following week to see how our plan is going so far. Rarely will we get it right on the first pass - so small adjustments can be made over email until we see progress. If we aren’t seeing any progress, or we see a regression in behaviour, I will recommend booking another consultation. We need to dive deeper!
A full report is available for an additional fee of $50. This option can be selected at checkout. This will include a summary of our consultation as well as links, resources, and product suggestions. This can be sent to your veterinarian upon request.
In-person consultations in the Toronto, Canada area are available. Please get in touch first before booking. In-person sessions are offered on weekends.

Why virtual consultations?
99% of my practice is made up of virtual consultations over zoom. Yes, it is very convenient and I can help more clients in a day… but the cats also prefer it!
As nice as I am, cats typically don’t like strangers in their home. There are definitely exceptions to this (looking at those extroverted cats out there!) but at minimum, most do not like a change in their routine. This can stress them out.
I also don’t need to see the behaviour in question. Firstly, we don’t want them to practice it any more then they have. Secondly, preforming the behaviour will likely increase their stress.
If a cat is stressed, they lose the ability to learn new skills. It’s best for us humans to talk it out, develop a plan, and work with the cat when they are feeling good (without a stranger in their midst!).
Most cases will be improved or even completely resolved virtually. So give it a try!
What about that 1% of my practice? Those are cats who I help get into carriers for vet visits.
